I’ve seen several articles online on Reese Witherspoon and the opening of her brick & mortar store in Nashville. I’ve never paid much attention to it online, but now I’m a little obsessed with the design of the store (courtesy of Mark D. Sikes).     This awning makes my heart race! Fixer Upper Goes Mid-Century

Yes, like most everyone, I am on the Fixer Upper bandwagon. I heard of the show from Joni Webb on her Cote de Texas blog during the first season, and I was instantly hooked. Not only are Joanna & Chip Gaines fun & personable & authentic, they have a great design eye. I think the show kind of plays down Chip’s contribution in that area, but given that he was an established builder long before the show started I imagine he can hold his own.
